Yosemite Easygoing Hiking & Walking - 9/01 First Trip Lead is done and dusted! My first dolce tempo trip was spent with such a memorable group of guests. 🥹 This trip I finally got to complete some of our iconic hikes to Taft Point and Sentinel Dome, spent plenty of time scouting out bathroom stops, and caught plenty of early morning light in the valley. Here’s to more river swims, tiny coffees and guest bartenders.

The past two weeks have been one of the most intense, challenging and rewarding experiences of my life during New Leader Training in Salt Lake City. People who started as strangers have now become dear friends, and I can’t wait to see where our roads take us with @backroadstravel. Next up: Yosemite National Park! ⛰️ 📸 1: Your freshly minted Trip Leaders at Graduation 2: View from Emigration Canyon on our Mock Trip 3: Best House Award: Corner Condo 4: Cultural Stop at Swig to feel like locals 5: Getting our reps in with racking our bikes 6: One of numerous emotional support ice cream/froyo runs 7: Became very well acquainted to bike mechanics and driving school in middle school parking lots 8 & 9: Mock Trip picnic success 9: The sweatiest, greasiest group of graduates you’ll ever see

Between a hectic move, knee surgery, and a loss in the family, May 2026 didn't go exactly as planned. I've now closed out my most recent stint in DC, and I am thrilled to announce some big news I've been sitting on for a number of months now 🤗 Star

I've now closed out my most recent stint in DC, and I am thrilled to announce some big news I've been sitting on for a number of months now 🤗 Starting in July, I am pursuing my dream job and will be a Trip Leader with @backroadstravel!
